Why size matters

If a small image is enlarged a lot, it can look less sharp (especially photos).
Images saved from social apps, screenshots, or heavily compressed files often print worse.

What usually causes prints to look less sharp

Low-resolution images that must be enlarged heavily
Blurry originals (out of focus / low light)
Multiple re-saves (compression stacks up)

Simple tips that work

Use an original photo from your phone when possible
Avoid screenshots and images saved from social media
If you only have a smaller image, it can still work — it just won't look as sharp when printed

Remove Background Tips

This works best when your subject stands out clearly from the background.

Works best with: Clear subject contrast Best background: Simple / uncluttered Can struggle with: Dark or busy photos

When it works best

People, pets, and objects that are easy to separate from the background
Photos with good lighting and clear edges
Images where the subject is not blending into the background

When results may be less accurate

Very dark subjects on dark backgrounds
Busy backgrounds with lots of detail behind the subject
Low-contrast photos where edges are harder to detect

Good to know

The removed version may appear more tightly cropped around your subject
If the result doesn’t look right, try uploading a different photo with better contrast
For many styled designs, small background-removal differences are usually not noticeable
